Cole Classic One of Australia’s longest running and largest ocean swims is held on the first Sunday in February at Manly. Founded by the Cole family in 1983, this iconic event offers a challenge for people to swim a reasonable distance through the surf. Download File

The Sydney Morning Herald Half Marathon Australia’s largest and most prestigious Half Marathon attracts over 10,000 registered participants and is held on the third Sunday in May. Download File

The Sun-Herald City2Surf The Sun-Herald City2Surf is the world’s largest running race and Sydney’s favourite sporting event. Held on the second Sunday in August, each year more than 75,000 registered participants raise over $2 million for charity. Download File

The Sydney Morning Herald Sydney International Food Festival The Sydney International Food Festival is held from October 1 to 31 each year. The Sun-Herald Run4Fun Sydney’s newest fun run is held in November at Sydney Olympic Park. The 10km Run4Fun finishes on the hallowed turf of ANZ Stadium and is a fundraiser for the children's hospitals in NSW at Westmead, Randwick and Newcastle. Download File

The Sydney Morning Herald Sun Run Sydney’s new summer fun run, The Sydney Morning Herald Sun Run. This exciting new run will be held the day prior the Cole Classic, on Saturday, February 5, 2011, creating the ultimate sporting weekend. The spectacular course (approx 7km) from Dee Why to Manly will showcase the best of the Northern Beaches. The Sun Run commences at 6.45am and will start at The Strand in Dee Why and finish on The Steyne in Manly. Runners, joggers, wheelchairs, pushers and walkers are all encouraged to take up the challenge of the 1st annual Sun Run. The event also aims to raise much needed funds for more than 500 charities, including the Dee Why and Manly Surf Life Saving Clubs. Download File
