Experience More and WIN a 3D TV
How to enter

Andrew, known to colleagues and friends as ‘Speedy’, took his winning photo on the Eureka Skydeck at the top of Eureka Tower in Melbourne. Speedy is pictured reading the Sun-Herald with a friend inside ‘The Edge Experience’, a glass cube which extends outwards from the building 88 floors – almost 300 metres – above the street below.

The judges chose Speedy’s photo because it made best use of the competition’s entry criteria stipulating that anyone working in a media agency could submit a photo of themselves “experiencing more” with The Sun-Herald newspaper.

Entrants could submit a photo of themselves enjoying any type of activity – from sport to holidays, partying or just out andabout – as long as they also feature a copy of The Sun-Herald in the shot. Speedy said: “I’d always wanted to experience the thrill of ‘The Edge Experience but I’m pretty terrified of heights.”He said that on the evening of the competition closing date, he thought a photo taken inside The Edge Experience might make a good entry, so, armed with a copy of The Sun-Herald, he rode the elevator to the Eureka Skydeck and had his picture taken inside the glass cube just after dark. Fairfax Media Director, Trade Marketing & Insights, Elizabeth Ross, said: “Congratulations to Andrew for overcoming his fear of heights to send us the winning picture. And congratulations to all the other entrants – judging the competition was great fun but it wasn’t easy to decide the outcome.”
